All Saps are made to order, hand sewn and dyed in your choice of colour.
A multi-use leather tool for personal protection, this jack sap (also known as black jack) fits into one's hand and offers a swift blow to any assailant. It will not break bones but will offer a deep shock to any part of the body. This small but very effective instrument fits into your pocket. Jack saps have also been known to be used for:
Massage:
The instrument can be used for massage, to weight the hand of the masseur, or to give an effective weight to one's own hand. The soft nature of the pouch allows it to adjust to the body's contours, and the burnished finish allows it to move smoothly and without abrasion to sensitive skin.
Body Conditioning:
It's well known that soft repetitive shock to bones will make them absorb more calcium, and thus become denser. Many martial arts include body conditioning exercises, and the Conditioner Soft Sap is specifically designed for that application.

Palm Sap We are pleased to offered the newly designed Palm Sap! This Sap is completely custom made and hand stitched. Measure the circumference of your hand and we will create a Sap which will slide snug into your left or right hand. 3/8 steel plate molded over leather. Impact part is measured at 2.5 inches wide 1 inch high. This impact weapon is designed for Palm striking or increasing the weight of your hand when punching. You also have the option of a handtooled design of your choosing on the back strap of your Sap. |

Klout The body on this little guy is only 5", the strap is 3" The doubled strap goes all the way into the body of the pouch for flexibility and strength. This is a very comfortable and effective size. Still weighty and has a wider base to it. More expensive due to the amount of stitching. |

Frontier Pal This is an early nineteenth century design. It must have been made by a local saddler for the Sheriff. The leather was soft and flexible, and obviously carried for decades. The 'Frontier Pal' is a long, tapered, old-timey, good-looking sap. It fits Frontier re-enactment costume and the assembly techniques are absolutely genuine - in fact, I use the same 1880’s tools that they did, the same heavy six-cord linen lace used in saddle shops, and pure beeswax packing. Available in any colour but looks best in brown as shown. |

Small Paddle Pal The Paddle Pal Midget evolves from the traditional flat slapjack design; the seam goes all the way around the unit so it sits flat. Strap a sewn unto the Sap ensuring a decent grip and fits sung around the hand. I'll need a measurement of the circumference of your hand to properly fit the strap. Originally this Sap is measured 6 inches long. Due to valued feedback from our loyal customers the Sap was reported to be too small to grip and not leaving sufficient room for impact thus being ineffective. We have decided to go back to the drafting board and enlarge the overall diameter and length. We’ll have the newer Paddle sap up shortly. |

Pocket Pup The Pocket Pup is a traditional little softsap with a short wide strap. It will go in a front pocket very handily at only 5 1/4" for the body. The strap fits around the last three fingers of the hand and the end is pinched with the thumb and forefinger. This style of Sap is ideal for joggers, easy to have in your pocket. |

u.s.s.s model The body is weighty and it has an extended handle for a good grip. This picture shows the longer loop, but it is more popular in the short, heavy loop, for a more compact profile. It was designed for light crowd control applications. It's plenty to give an authority to your hand. |
